The pants are part of a collection which also features zippers with a gradient of green and white. This gradient draws inspiration from the hues seen in the northern lights of Sweden. The zippers on these pants are essentially a color-shifted version.
There also is a RECCO reflector integrated into the pants. RECCO technology in ski suits is a passive radar system, which does not need any charging or setup. Rescuers use detectors to locate wearers buried in avalanches or other emergencies quickly.
Definitely one of the greatest ski gear that was ever put on the market (at least visually ;)).
BY THE WAY: It's still easy to wear in everyday use. I got myself a similar model from the same collection and I wear it as normal pants.
